Gandipet reaches peak, two gates opened Hyderabad, Nov 15 (INN): Hyderabad Metropolitan Water and Sewerage Board authorities on Monday lifted two gates of the Osmansagar drinking water reservoir to a height of four feet following the full-tank level of 1790 feet being surpassed. About a thousand cusecs of water was released downstream into the Musi river. The HMWSSB warned people living downstream to be cautious. The officials further said that further inflows in the reservoir are expected and they may have to release more water by opening more gates by Monday night.
