Telangana NRIs protested Lagadapati A.P. Show
Bridgewater, NJ: Thirty-five Telangana NRIs under the leadership of Telangana Development Forum (TDF), USA protested the Lagadapati Rajgopal and TDP MLA's staged show at Royal Albert Palace, Fords NJ today. Many Telangana NRIs were outraged the November 1st A.P. formation day celebration financed by Lagadapati and called it a Telangana Vidroha Dinam.
TDF Vice President Murali Chinthalpani in a Press note on Sunday criticised that in addition to Lagadapati, Payyavula Keshav and Theegala Krishna Reddy of TDP have participated in this show. He said that Telangana NRIs felt Theegala Krishana Reddy's participation in the event is sickening and he has sold his soul for money and power to Chandra Babu Naidu. Telangana NRIs displayed many slogans at the event such as 'Samaikya Andhra vaddura, Telangana Muddura', 'Lagadapati oka Jagadapati', 'Theegala shame shame' etc.
TDF Chairman Sudhakar Perkari spoke that this day is celebrated to show how Andhras have been exploiting Telangana for last 54 years. Since 1956, Telangana lost its share of water, and our youth have suffered in terms of education and employment.
He accused that Lagadapati occupied Wakt lands and become a Billionaire in a short time. Lagadapati and his fellow Andhra cohorts looted Telangana wealth, now they don't want to give up, and trying very hard to undermine Telangana Statehood.
Many volunteers participated in the protest. Jamuna Puskur, Ravi Puskur, Murali Chinthalapani, TDF Vice President, Madhu K. Reddy, Shravanth Poreddy, Kartheek Arutla, Pramod, Venkat, Srikanth k, Sravan Nagapuri, Ranjith Reddy Nukala, Rakesh , Ramachander Rao, Chinna Gottam, Rahul, Pradeep, Pradeep, Revanth, Hari Mudumba, Shravan Maliki Reddy, Sheetal Jilla,Venkatesh Reddy, Laxman, Srinivas Ranabothu, Suresh Jilla, Balvanth Kommidi, Srinivasa Rao, Krishna Mohan, Shantan Reddy, Srinivas Mamidi, Yasweer Reddy, Praveen and Prashanth were among the protesters.
'Telangana NRIs everywhere want to oppose this staged show by Lagadapati and his TDP supporters. Lagadapati can't bulldoze Telangana people with his money and arrogance. Time has come for all of us to stand up and fight back', TDF said in the press-note.
