Health Expo to highlight traditional therapies from Dec 6 Hyderabad, Dec 3 (INN): High Court Judge Justice Chandraiah will inaugurate a three-day Health exhibition which aims to create an opportunity for those who suffer from chronic and 'incurable' diseases, to find relief from their ailments. The Health Expo-2010 is also an attempt to create awareness among the people to opt for the traditional forms of therapies which are known to provide relief to chronic or regular ailments. Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal Chairman Justice Yetiraju will be the Guest of Honour at the Health Expo.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, one of the well known practitioners of the traditional forms of treatment, Dr Mahmood Aziz said that the Health Exhibition is being organized under the aegis of CFL Health Care Pvt Ltd in association with AYUSH at Sri Satya Sai Nigamagamam in Srinagar Colony from December 6 to December 8.
The Health Expo will be open to the public from 9 AM to 6 PM and will aim to focus the attention of the people to focus on life style, different forms of fast food, tension and stress in work place and in family are causes of disharmony resulting in diseases.
The exhibition is an attempt to educate the people on how to maintain good health and adopting an integrated approach towards this purpose. The organizers aim to provide a platform for all those involved in providing traditional form of treatments for the chronically ill and also create awareness and promote traditional therapies.
As part of exhibition, lectures on various diseases with reputed specialists in the field will be delivered. The series of lectures include Diabetes Mellitus (Type I and II), Cardiovascular disorders, Thyroid problems, Arthritis, respiratory disorders, Obesity, Cancer and AIDS, Digestive, Mental and Renal disorders. The CFL Health Care Pvt Ltd has taken an initiative in this area in association with AYUSH by integration of different traditional medical sciences 'Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, Homeopathy, Sujok, Acupuncture, Yoga, Physiotheraphy, Nature Cure, Dietician, Taichi and Smile Meditation--under one roof to create awareness about traditional medicines which has no side effects in the form.
Various companies will display their healthcare products in the exhibition. The products include'Ayurveda, haircare, fitness, herbal, Homeopath, weight loss/gain management, Food supplements, Yoga and meditation.
