Cocaine peddlers' gang busted, 3 nabbed Hyderabad, Dec 10 (INN): Jubilee Hills police on Friday said that it has arrested two Nigerians and one Kenyan for attempting to peddle cocaine and also seized 75 grams of the narcotic besides a motorcycle, electronic weighing machine and four cell phones from their possession on Thursday. According to the police, the two Nigerians and one Kenyan drug peddlers, identified as Azubuike Ugorji alias Franklin, Ikennha Akabueze and Mbogo Mugo alias Karl. Karl is a student in ICFAI.
The three had come near the Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, Jubilee Hills to deliver cocaine to his known customer. They were identified and arrested, along with the drugs. The police revealed that the two Nigerians regularly come to India and to Hyderabad for business purpose. While in Hyderabad, they stay with Karl, who is pursuing his studies at ICFAI and stays at Sainikpuri. During one of their visits Karl told them that there is heavy demand for cocaine in Hyderabad and that they can earn good amounts if they supply it.
The two Nigerians returned to Mumbai contacted one James who is also a Nigerian and supplies cocaine in Mumbai. James used to supply them cocaine and they in turn supplied it to Karl. The cocaine is sold at the cost of Rs 2,000 to Rs 3,000 per gram or more depending on the choice and needs of customers. They formed a gang in Mumbai which is popularly called Frank gang and another gang in Hyderabad popularly known as Karl gang among the city drug users. Few days back the two Nigerians came to Hyderabad with about 75 grams of cocaine and on Thursday they were nabbed.
