Hotel employee killed in road mishap
Hyderabad, Dec 10 (INN): A hotel employee died in a road accident under the LB Nagar police station limits late on Thursday night. According to Sub Inspector E Jahangir, the victim has been identified as Khaja Miya (45), a resident of Lingojiguda in Rangareddy district. The mishap took place when Khaja returning to his house on bicycle after completing his work. Khaja sustained serious injuries on Monday night when a speeding auto hit his bicycle near Global Hospitals. He succumbed to his injuries at Gandhi hospital on Thursday night.L B Nagar police registered a case under section 304 A IPC.
Youth mowed down by train
Hyderabad, Dec 10 (INN): A young man died after being hit by a speeding train while crossing railway track under the Secunderabad Railway Police Station limits. According to sub inspector Mohammed Khader Shareef, the victim has been identified as M Satish Kumar (24) a resident of Chengicherla in Rangareddy district. He was working in a private firm in the city. Satish Kumar died while crossing railway track at Ghatkesar railway station. Secunderabad Railway Police registered a case under Section 174 CRPC. The body was sent to Gandhi Hospital mortuary.
DCHS nabbed red handed while taking graft
Srikakulam, Dec 10 (INN): The Anti Corruption Bureau officials on Friday caught red-handed Dr Boyina Ratna Gupta, District Coordinator of Hospital Services (DCHS) (FAC), Srikakulam district when he was accepting bribe of Rs 8,000 from the complainant for showing official favour to issue proceedings for permitting Saradhi Mega Man Power to provide Man Power to work in A.P. Vaidya Vidhan Parishad Hospital on outsourcing basis. Dr Ratna Gupta was arrested and will be produced before the Court for Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases, Visakhapatnam.
