Paramedic Assn lend support to Babu's fast Hyderabad, Dec 23 (INN): Protesting the state government's adamant and indifferent attitude in addressing the farmer's issue, members of Telugunadu Para Medical Association on Thursday observed a one-day hunger strike in support of Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu. The hunger strikes were organized in front of all TDP district headquarters across the state.
According to Dr Mohammed Hussain, about 9,000 members took part in the hunger strike in the various districts. Dr Hussain said that Association president Dr CL Venkat Rao led the members by observing the fast at NTR Trust Bhavan. Criticizing the state government for its stubborn attitude, Dr Rao demanded that the state government respond favourably considering the serious health condition of the Opposition Leader.
He criticized the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and Agriculture Minister YS Vivekananda Reddy for not responding properly over the farmer's issue. The striking doctor also said that Mr Naidu's health condition was deteriorating by the hour, but government still adamant and was not coming to his rescue by announcing a revised financial package.
