Rich tributes paid to PJR on death anniversary
Hyderabad, Dec 28 (INN): Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Tuesday paid homage to senior Congress leader and former minister P Janardhan Reddy by garlanding his statue at Khairtabad Circle on the occasion of his third death anniversary.
Pradesh Congress Committee president D Srinivas and Minister for Textiles Shankar Rao and other leaders also paid rich floral tributes to the late leader at his statue. They later proceeded to the People's Plaza on the Necklace road and participated in the function organized in his memory. Speaking to media persons present there, the Congress leaders said that they are in favour of naming the Hyderabad Metro Rail after P Janardhan Reddy.
