G1, G2 aspirants meet CM, urge haste in recruitments Hyderabad, Dec 31 (INN): The candidates aspiring for Group I and Group II posts on Friday appealed to Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to complete the recruitment process through Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) as early as possible. The candidates, after submitting a memorandum to the Chief Minister at his Camp Office, appealed to him to merge the new vacancies caused due to retirement to the old notification and complete the process early.
The candidates stated that about 200 vacancies in Group I and 5,000 vacancies in Group II can be filled through the notification issued earlier and there was no need to conduct any tests. The Chief Minister assured them that he would consider their demand after discussing these with APPSC and other concerned department officials. The candidates threatened to observe indefinite hunger fast at Indira Park from January 3 if the state government does not comes out with a decision on their demand by then.
