NSUI leaders fight over T-issue, two suspended Hyderabad, Jan 11 (INN): The differences in National Students Union of India members came to fore with its president Bhargav Deshpande suspending Union state secretary general Sai Prasad and city general secretary Sai Yadav for making comments in favour of separate Telangana state formation. According to reports, the NSUI president had issued show-cause notice to Sai Prasad and Sai Yadav for making remarks at Press Club in Basheer Bagh on in favour of Telangana.
When Sai Prasad and Yadav came to Gandhi Bhavan to give explanation to the show-cause notice, they were allegedly attacked by some miscreants. Condemning the attack, Sai Prasad and Yadav alleged that Bhargav had threatened and warned them to resign from their posts for making statements favourable to Telangana. They said they would not allow Bhargav to visit Telangana for being pro-integrationist. However, Bhargav condemned the allegations leveled by Sai Prasad and Yadav and stated that there was no truth in it.
