Sub-Panel on Hindi reviews language usage by SCR
Hyderabad, Jan 14 (INN): The Second Sub-Committee of the Committee of Parliament on Official Language (Rajbhasha) Hindi held a meeting with officials of South Central Railway on Friday at Hyderabad to review the implementation of the language on SCR. The meeting was chaired by Committee member and MP Prasanna Kumar Patsani, SCR General Manager MS Jayanth, welcomed the Committee and presented a detailed report on the implementation of Hindi as Official Language on the zone.
Dr Prasanna Kumar Patsani expressed his appreciation on the use of Hindi on South Central Railway and further stressed that its usage may be still more enhanced. He along with other dignitaries also went round an Exhibition organized by the Rajbhasha Wing of SCR under Rajbhasha Adhikari Mangala Abhyankar, on the use of Hindi in the zone and released a booklet brought out by the department.
Mukhya Rajbhasha Adhikari, Mahesh Chandra proposed the Vote of Thanks.
Member of the Committee Kishan Bhai V Patel, Parliamentary Committee on Official Language Ex- Deputy Chairman Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad, Parliamentary Committee Secretary Punam Juneja and senior railway officials were also present. (INN)
