Cousin stabs man after petty fight Hyderabad, Jan 16 (INN): In a shocking incident which came to light on Sunday, a man was stabbed to death at the hands of his cousin following a petty quarrel between the two at Papi Reddy Colony, Serilingampally mandal in Ranga Reddy district late on Saturday. According to the Inspector B Surrender Rao, M Pramod (30), son of M Babu Rao used to work as a flexi-board painter and a resident of the Papi Reddy Colony.
On Saturday night, the deceased came to his residence in a drunken state and entered into a an argument with his cousin M Vinod, both natives of Sholapur in Maharashtra. The heated exchange soon went out of hand, leading Vinod to grab a vegetable knife and stab his cousin. Pramod was stabbed repeatedly and was left lying in a pool of blood. The Gandhi Hospital doctors said that Pramod was stabbed at least 20 times, with his internal organs being cut up badly.
Vinod fled from the scene. Pramod died on the spot. The murder was detected on Sunday after neighbours detected the door of the house ajar and peered in. Seeing Pramod's body and the pool of blood, they alerted the police who rushed to the spot. The police registered a case Under Section 302 IPC and shifted the body to Gandhi Hospital for PME
Case is under investigation.
