Techie runs sex racket, held Hyderabad, January 20: Three persons, including a HSBC Bank employee, were arrested for allegedly organising a sex racket here. P Chandrasekhar, a software developer with the bank's Madhapur branch here, a local artist V Gopi and another person, also identified as Gopi, who rented his house for running the trade were taken into custody, Banjara Hills ACP R Ravinder Reddy said.
Four other women, alleged to be sex workers, were also nabbed and later sent to rescue home, he said. Chandrasekhar and Gopi were running the racket for the past two years in the city, the officer said.
The duo and the women were caught from a house in Krishna Nagar late on Tuesday night. The accused were sent to judicial remand while the women, who belong to Kolkata, Rajahmundry in East Godavari district and Vijayawada were sent to rescue home. Chandrasekhar hailing from Visakhapatnam was staying at a rented house in Kukatpally. He took help from Gopi, a native of Khammam district, for the trade, another officer said.
