Snag in Janmabhoomi hits rail traffic Hyderabad, Jan 21 (INN): Many trains were running behind schedule in Guntur-Secunderabad section as Janmabhoomi intercity express between Visakhapatnam- Secunderabad halted at Bellamkonda in Guntur district due to technical snag. According to railway sources, the Janmabhoomi Express, which started at Visakhapatnam, developed technical snag in the engine near Belamkonda, and was brought to a halt.
Following this, other trains were forced to be halted at various stations on the Guntur-Secunderabad route. According to information coming in, the Sabari Express was stopped at Piduguralla, the Palnadu Express stopped at Tummalacheruvu and Macherla-Repalle passenger at Nadikudi junction. Trains on the sectors are also running late as a result, officials said. The officials are making efforts to restore the operations on the route.
