Fatehnagar RUB to be complete by Mar 31
Hyderabad, Feb 3 (INN): Work on the Road Under Bridge between Fatehnagar to Nature Cure Hospital will finally begin after the project got a green signal on Thursday. The RUB establishes direct connectivity from Begumpet to Balanagar. The RUB is expected to be completed by March 31, 2011 and will be built at a cost of Rs 13.48 crore. The project will be funded by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
According to South Central Railway Chief Administrative Officer SK Sharma, the GHMC had deposited the funds in December 2008 and cleared the obstructions like electrical poles and transformers by May 2010. Five families will have to relocate due to the construction of the RUB. The Railways will demolish 18 houses for the paving the way for the RUB construction. The RUB's length would be 29 metres, 11 meter in width and its height will be 4.9 metres, with 1.5 meter space left for the pedestrians.
