According to Jeedimetla police, the victim has been identified as NR Babu (42), a resident of Subhash Nagar, Rangareddy district. Babu consumed poison on Wednesday. He died while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital later in the night. Police registered a case under Section 174 CRPC.
Teacher succumbs to burns
Hyderabad, Feb 3 (INN): A private school teacher succumbed to burns under the Begumpet police station limits. According to Sub inspector S Santosham, the victim has been identified as Kalyani (30), wife of Ramesh and a resident of Balamrai, Secunderabad. Unable to bear stomach pain, on Wednesday, Kalyani poured kerosene on her body and set a fire. She died while undergoing treatment in hospital late on Wednesday night. Police registered a case under Section 174 CRPC and the body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem.
Elderly man falls while boarding train, dies
Hyderabad, Feb 3 (INN): An elderly man fell down from train while boarding under Secunderabad railway police station limits. According to Sub inspector Khader Shareef, the victim has been identified as Abdul Lateef (60), a resident of Hakeempet. On Wednesday evening, Lateef accidentally fell down from Konark Express while boarding it at Secunderabad Railway Station. He sustained serious injuries and died while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital. Police registered a case under Section 174 CRPC.
Road mishap claims girl's life
Hyderabad, Feb 3 (INN): A girl died in a road accident under the Jeedimetla police station limits. According to Sub inspector Hanumaiah, the victim has been identified as A Bhagyasree (19), daughter of Ranga Reddy, a resident of Bahadurpally, Venkataramana Colony. She sustained serious injuries while going with her brother on motorcycle when a DCM van hit their vehicle at Jeedimetla cross road on Tuesday. She died at Gandhi Hospital while undergoing treatment on Wednesday night and her brother sustained minor injuries. Police registered a case under Section 304A IPC.
