CM to participate in RB at Khammam Hyderabad, Feb 8 (INN): Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will participate in the Racha Banda programme at Mujjugudem, Nelakondapally Mandal, Khammam district in the morning of Wednesday after having discussions with officials and non-officials. He will also attend a public meeting at Kujjugudem and distribute asses there. Later the Chief Minister will attend another Racha Banda Programme at Wargal Village, Wargal Mandal, Medak and also address a public meeting there. He will also distribute assets to the beneficiaries there.
The Racha Banda Programme was held at 1,476 places throughout the State on Tuesday, its 14th day. According to official information, 570 places in Andhra, 276 places Rayalaseema and 630 places in Telangana. There were reports of minor disruptions at some places in Telangana only.
Many more beneficiaries received assets and other benefits at different places in the State today. Already, Racha Banda programme has covered 19,600 villages/gram panchayats, Andhra-7,931; Rayalaseema-3,692 and Telangana-7,977. There were minor disruptions in a total of 107 places in Telangana. In all, till Tuesday, the Racha Banda programme was held in 21,076 places all over the State.
