T lecturers begin hunger strike for Bill Hyderabad, Feb 15 (INN): Demanding that the Congress makes its stand clear on introduction of Telangana Bill in the Budget Session of parliament, Telangana Lecturers Forum members on Tuesday began a hunger strike at Guddi Malkapur, Karwan. Talking to media persons, the Lecturers Forum president M Ramulu demanded that the Congress members to mount pressure on Central Government to table the T Bill in the Budget Session of Parliament.
Telangana Jugruti president K Kavita threatened the Centre of serious consequences if it fails to introduce the T Bill. Kavitha sought the cooperation of all employees so that the non-cooperation movement starting from February 17 is a huge success and the government put under so much pressure that it buckles down and take a positive and concrete decision on carving out a separate Telangana state.
She told the Congress party should not test the patience of Telangana people and immediately announce formation of separate state in parliament. Kavitha also thanked the people of Telangana for extending their cooperation in the struggle for a separate state. She hoped that the dream of Telangana people would come to reality soon. Telangana Junior Lecturers Association also extended their support to Telangana Lecturer Forum.
