Secretariat staff join noncooperation stir Hyderabad, Feb 17 (INN): Over a hundred Secretariat employees belonging to Telangana region took out a procession from the C Block to the main gate of the secretariat on Thursday, raising slogans in favour of the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and against the government. As part of their noncooperation protest against the state government, the secretariat staff raised slogans.
Over 1000 employees, both officers and NGOs, participated in pen down strike. TNGOs leader Suresh Rao and Gazetted Officers' leader Narender addressed the gathering of employees. The government was asked to step up efforts for introduction of a separate Telangana Bill in Parliament.
