Five die in separate road mishaps in Cyberabad Hyderabad, Feb 21 (INN): Five persons died in separate road accidents under Cyberabad Commissionrate limits. According to Bowenpally Sub inspector P John Victor, M Santosh (27) died on Monday morning when his motorcycle was hit by an unidentified vehicle near Military Road, Old Bowenpally. The victim was a Lathe Machine worker and a resident of Sriramnagar Colony, Chintal. The body was shifted to Gandhi hospital for postmortem.
In another mishap, one woman died when a Maruti car driver lost control on his vehicle and hit her near West Marredpally. According to Maredpally Sub inspector K Yadaiah, Y Mahalaxmi (50) wife of Y Shyam Rao, a resident of West Maredpally was discharged after undergoing treatment at Sigma Hospital. However, she died on Sunday night at her residence.
In another mishap, a person died when his motorcycle hit by unidentified vehicle near Kuntloor Crossroad on Sunday evening. According to Hayathnagar Sub inspector S Devender, the victim has been identified as Y Venkatesh (30) a resident of Medipally, Uppal. He died at Gandhi Hospital while undergoing treatment on Monday morning. Police registered a case under Section 304A IPC.
According to Keesra Sub-Inspector B Bhaskar, M Satyanarayana (50) son of Siddaiah was a resident of Nagaram, Ranga Reddy district. On Thursday morning Satyanarayana was crossing the Rampally Crossroad when an unidentified vehicle hit him, leaving him with severe injuries. He was immediately shifted to Gandhi Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment on Monday early morning.
According to the Bowenpally Sub-inspector, P Babu Rao, S Nandesh (20) son of S Krishna, a fruit vendor was a resident of Singareni Colony, Saidabad. His motorcycle was hit by a private bus near Military Canteen, Old Bowenpally Main Road. He died on the spot. Police registered cases under section 304A IPC in all the cases.
Missing man found dead
Hyderabad, Feb 21 (INN): The body of a man who was missing since Thursday was found under Ghatkesar police station limits late on Sunday evening. According to Sub-Inspector R Ravi, the victim has been identified as Gavnepally Nagaiah (55) a resident of Baghlingampally. On Thursday, the victim left for plumbing work and did not return. His relatives lodged a missing complaint. On Sunday evening his body was found at Survey No 22, Annojiguda village, Ghatkesar mandal. Police registered a case under section 174 CRPC (Suspicious death) and shifted the body to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem.
Girl dies in domestic fire mishap
Hyderabad, Feb 21 (INN): A girl died due to burns, which she sustained while cooking under Osmania University police station limits. According to Inspector P Ashok, the victim has been identified as V Rani (14), daughter of V Srinu, a resident of M K Nagar, O U Campus. She died while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital on Monday morning. Police registered a case under section 174 CRPC.
Debt ridden rickshaw puller immolates self
Hyderabad, Feb 21 (INN): Unable to face financial problems, a rickshaw puller ended his life by dousing kerosene and setting himself alight under KPHB police station limits. According to Sub0Inspector N Sreerangam, victim was identified as Mannem Sailoo (45), a resident of Addagutta, Kukatpally and a native of Mahabubnagar district. On Wednesday evening, Sailoo set himself ablaze after pouring kerosene due to financial problems. He died at Gandhi Hospital while undergoing treatment on Sunday night.
