4 private college buses set on fire Hyderabad, Feb 24 (INN): Three college buses were completely reduced to ashes and one partially damaged when unidentified miscreants set fire to them at Ravindra Colony in Habsiguda in the wee hours of Thursday. According to Osmania University police, the miscreants allegedly set fire to buses, which were parked on the roadside, by sprinkling petrol on them. The buses belonged to Adusumilli Vijaya Group of Engineering Colleges in the city.
The police said that they are interrogating one person in connection with the arson attack. He has been identified as one Suman. Osmania University police have registered a case in this connection. However, the college management has not filed a case so far in this connection. According to sources, the police have advised the bus owners not to park their vehicles, particularly in night, in the wake of volatile situation in the capital. However, the police refused to say that the arson attack is in any way connected to the ongoing Telangana agitation.
