Student falls off running bus, dies
Hyderabad, Feb 24 (INN): A college student died when he fell down from a running bus while boarding it at VST Cross Roads under Chikkadapally police station limits on Thursday. According to Inspector K Srikanth, the victim has been identified as N Nagaraju (19), who was pursuing degree first year at Nruptunga Degree College, Kachiguda and a resident of Camp No 6, OU Campus. He received serious injuries due to the fall and died on the spot. Police registered a case under Section 304A IPC and the body was shifted to Osmania hospital for postmortem.
Train mows down labourer
Hyderabad, Feb 24 (INN): A labour died when he was mowed down by a train while crossing the railway track under Secunderabad railway police station limits on Wednesday night. According to Sub inspector Mohammed Khader Shareef, the victim has been identified as J Narender (27), a resident of Patigadda, Begumpet. Police registered a case under section 174 CRPC and the body was shifted to Gandhi hospital for postmortem.
LDC found dead in lodge
Hyderabad, Feb 24 (INN): The body of a government employee was found at a lodge in Secunderabad under the Market police station limits. According to Inspector G Vinod Kumar, the victim has been identified as Pale Pogu Kennedy (49), a Lower Division Clerk and staying in Room No 3, Garden Lodge, Secunderabad. He was native of Sainagar Colony, Guntur district. The reason behind the death are not yet clear. The deceased was staying in the lodge for last 40 days. Police registered a case under section 174 CRPC and the body was shifted to Gandhi hospital for postmortem.
Tailor drowns in sump
Hyderabad, Feb 24 (INN): A tailor drowned in the sump of an under construction building in Vanasthalipuram police station limits. According to inspector G Ravinder Reddy, the victim has been identified as G Francis (37), a resident of RTC colony. Reddy, who was in drunken condition, fell into sump and died. Police registered a case under Section 174 CRPC and the body was shifted to Osmania hospital for postmortem.
Woman dies in mishap
Hyderabad, Feb 24 (INN): A woman died in road accident under Bahadurpura police station limits on Thursday. According to Inspector G Biksham Reddy, the victim has been identified as Rehana Begum (40), wife of Mohammed Jahangir and a resident of Najamnagar, Kishanbagh. Begum sustained serious injuries when her auto collided with a car near Bahadurpura Cross road. Police registered a case under Section 304A IPC and the body was shifted to Osmania hospital for postmortem.
Live wire claims hotel worker's life
Hyderabad, Feb 24 (INN): A hotel employee was electrocuted when he accidentally contacted a live wire while grinding ingredients in a kitchen under the Saroornagar police station limits. According to Inspector K Purnachandar Rao, the victim has been identified as Santosh (25), a resident of Raghavendra Nagar. Santhosh was working at Swagath Hotel, Dwarkapuri colony. Police registered a case under section 174 CRPC.
T delay behind man's death?
Hyderabad, Feb 24 (INN): The delay in the formation of Telangana has claimed one more life. One person identified as S Srinivas (35) died of cardiac arrest while watching TV that Telangana state formation was further delayed. L B Nagar Inspector Sreedhar Reddy stated the victim was a resident of RTC Colony in L B Nagar and was eagerly waiting for the formation of separate Telangana state.
Bike mows down pedestrian
Hyderabad, Feb 24 (INN): One person died when he was hit by a motorcycle while crossing road at Erragadda under Sanathnagar police station limits on Wednesday night. According to Sub inspector M Prem Kumar, the victim has been identified as Ram Jivan (38), a resident of Motinagar and a native of Bihar state. He died at Gandhi Hospital while undergoing treatment. Police registered a case under Section 304A IPC.
