Woman found burnt to death, husband suspect Hyderabad, March 7 (INN): A partially burnt woman's body found at Prashanthnagar under Miyapur police station limits on Sunday. According to Inspector Bheem Reddy, the victim has been identified as Ch Eshwarramma (23), wife of Venkatesh, a resident of Prashanth nagar, Miyapur. She was native of Bajrampet, Kowdipally mandal, Medak district. Eshwaramma's partially burnt body was found in an open land near Prasanth Nagar. The police recovered a pair of slippers, kerosene bottle and a match box from the spot. Police suspect Venkatesh might have poured kerosene on Eswaramma and set her ablaze. Police registered a case under Section 302 IPC and the body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem.
Woman immolates self as drunk tries to molest her
Hyderabad, March 7 (INN): A women is suspected to have set herself ablaze to save her honour after an intoxicated man tried to to molest her under Sanathnagar police station limits. According to Inspector Baswa Reddy, the victim has been identified as V Amrutha (22), wife of Yadagiri, a resident of Shastri nagar, Fatehnagar. On Saturday afternoon, Amrutha committed suicide as one Ramesh, who was in drunken state, entered her house and tried to molest her. Amrutha died while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital on Sunday night.
