Man found burnt to death Hyderabad, March 8 (INN): A partially burnt body of a man was found on defence land under Alwal police station limits. According to Alwal police Inspector K Srinivas Rao, the victim was aged about 25 to 30 years. On Tuesday, one Saikumar, a resident of Yapral found the body while attending nature's call and informed the police. Police suspect the victim might have been set on fire while still alive. Police registered a case under Section 302 and 201 IPC and the body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem.
Woman killed by relative after petty quarrel
Hyderabad, March 8 (INN): A woman was murdered by her relative after a petty quarrel under Amberpet police station limits late on Monday night. According to Inspector T Goverdhan, Shilpa Ratan Kumari (28) wife of Gopi, a private teacher and a resident of Pamula Basti in Amberpet was alone since her husband Gopi had gone out of the city two days ago. Their relative, one Seshu had come to their residence and entered into a petty quarrel with Shilpa. During the course of the quarrel, Seshu is believed to have hit Shilpa on the head with some sharp weapon. He later called Gopi on his mobile and told him that he had committed the crime. He then switched off the phone and fled away from the spot. Gopi informed the police who rushed to the spot. They shifted the body Osmania Hospital for postmortem. Police registered a case under Section 302 IPC.
Woman found dead in suspicious condition
Hyderabad, March 8 (INN): A woman body was found under Shamirpet police station limits in a suspicious condition. According to Sub-inspector M Mahesh Goud, the victim aged about 25 to 30 years. She was clad in a blue and black coloured nighty. Police registered a case under Section 174 (suspicious death). The body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem.
Unable to marry lover, woman kills self
Hyderabad, Mar 8 (INN): A private employee, in love with a colleague, committed suicide after her parents fixed her marriage with another man under Narayanguda police station limits. According to Sub Inspector E Venkat Reddy, Kumari R Sailaja (27) daughter of Yadagiri, a private employee and a resident of Esamia Bazaar in Koti consumed an unidentified poison on February 12. She died late on Monday night while undergoing treatment at a private hospital. On February 12, Shylaja consumed the poison after her parents fixed her marriage with another man, brushing aside her objections. She was in love with a colleague Balachander.
