Debt ridden guard ends life Hyderabad, March 10 (INN): Unable to bear the financial problems, a security guard committed suicide under Nacharam police station limits. According to Inspector T Manohar Reddy, the victim has been identified as Dandiga Kumara Swamy (35). He was working in Venkateshwara Transport company, Gokulnagar, Mallapur as a security guard. On Tuesday night, Swamy committed suicide by consuming poison. He died on Wednesday night while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital. Police registered a case under Section 174 CRPC.
Additional dowry demand claims woman's life
Hyderabad, March 10 (INN): Unable to bear harassment over additional dowry, a woman committed suicide by pouring kerosene and setting ablaze under Kondapur police station limits. According to Kondapur police, the victim has been identified as B Anusuja (22), wife of Narsimhulu, a resident of Kondapur, Medak district. Police said that Narsimhulu was demanding Rs 50,000 from Anusuja's parents as additional dowry and was harassing her. Anusuja died on Wednesday night while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital. Police registered a case under Section 302 IPC and 498.
Intoxicated man kills wife
Hyderabad, March 10 (INN): An intoxicated man killed his wife after a petty quarrel under Banjara Hills police station limits. According to Inspector M Sudarshan, the victim has been identified as B Padma (29), wife of Venkatesh, a resident of NBT, Banjara Hills Road No 2. On Wednesday night, Padma's husband came to his house in a drunken condition and picked up quarrel with his wife. He also beat her up with a wooden stick. Padma died on the spot. Police registered a case under Section 302 IPC and the body was shifted to Osmania Hospital for post-mortem.
Man dashes bike in stationary bus, wife dies
Hyderabad, March 10 (INN): A woman was killed when the motorcycle she and her husband were travelling on, dashed against a stationary bus under Pahadi Shareef police station limits. According to Inspector P Srinivas Reddy, the victim has been identified as Hemavathi (22), wife of Jangaiah, a resident of Sarasvathi Guda, Rangareddy district. On Wednesday night, Hemavathi and her husband were going on his motorcycle from Tukkuguda to Saraswathi Guda. The couple received serious injuries when their motorcycle hit parked RTC bus on the roadside. Hemavathi died at Gandhi Hospital while undergoing treatment. Jangaiah was declared to be out of danger. Police registered a case under Section 304A.
Train mows down elderly man
Hyderabad, March 10 (INN): A man died when he was hit by a moving train under Secunderabad railway police station limits. According to Sub Inspector Mohammed Khader Shareef, the victim has been identified as Armukham (70), a resident of R K Puram, Secunderabad. On Wednesday evening, Armukham died when he was hit by train while crossing the tracks near Ramkishtapuram railway station. Police registered a case under Section 174 CRPC and the body was shifted to Gandhi hospital for postmortem.
