Man falls to death from moving train Hyderabad, March 11 (INN): A NFC employee died after falling down from running train under Secunderabad railway police station limits. According to Sub-Inspector Mohammed Khader Shareef, the victim has been identified as M Peeru (34), a residentof Maccha Pahad, Warangal district. On Friday, Peeru, who was travelling on Krishna Express accidentally fell down from train when the train reached Cherlapally railway station. He died on the spot. Police registered a case under Section 174 CRPC.
Husband's torture drives woman to immolate self
Hyderabad, March 11 (INN): Unable to bear the mental and physical torture by her husband, a women poured kerosene and set herself ablaze under Musheerabad police station limits. According to Inspector P Venkata Ramana, the victim has been identified as Sajan Begum (35), wife of Mujeeb, a resident of Gulshannagar, Musheerabad. On Tuesday night, Mujeeb came to house in a drunken condition and had a quarrel with Begum over a petty issue. Later, Begum attempted suicide by immolating herself. Immediately she was rushed to Gandhi Hospital where she died while undergoing treatment on Thursday night. Police registered a case under Section 306, 498 A IPC.
Car hits road divider, one dead
Hyderabad, March 11 (INN): One person was killed and two others injured when the car in which they are travelling hit a road divider near Jeedimetla under Dundigal police station limits. According to Sub inspector M Yesudas, the victim has been identified as B Prathush (21), a resident of Shivalayanagar, Dundigal. He died while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital on Thursday night. The mishap occurred when the three were going in the car from Suraram to Jeedimetla. The condition of injured is stated to be out of danger. Police registered a case under Section 304A.
Train mows down elderly man
Hyderabad, March 11 (INN): An elderly man died when he was hit by a train while crossing track near R K Puram station under Secunderabad railway police station limits on Thursday. According to Sub inspector Mohammed Khader Shareef, the victim has been identified as Mohammed Amanullah (64), a resident of Gouthamnagar, Rangareddy district. Police registered a case under Section 174 CRPC and the body was shifted to Gandhi hospital for postmortem.
