Probe ordered into level crossing mishap at Vikarabad Hyderabad, March 14 (INN): The South Central Railways on Monday announced a department inquiry into the unmanned railway level crossing accident which claimed the lives of an advocate and his two children between Vikarabad and Sadasivpet Road.
The SCR Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division ordered the Departmental Railway after Train No 57548 Purna-Hyderabad Passenger hit a car in which the advocate was travelling on Sunday afternoon.
A Committee comprising Junior Administrative Grade Railway officials will hold an enquiry into the incident on March 18 at the Divisional Railway Manager's Conference Hall, Secunderabad Division.
Members of the public having knowledge relating to the above accident and matters connected therewith may give evidence during the enquiry or write to the Senior Divisional Safety Officer, Secunderabad Division.
