Interstate thieves held, Rs 10 lakh property recovered Hyderabad, March 14 (INN): Sleuths of the Central Crime Station on Monday apprehended two notorious thieves, involved in lifting for vehicles and snatching of gold chains in Hyderabad, Cyberabad, Vijayawada and Mumbai. The two accused, identified as Ushala Yadulu and Mohd Farooq were arrested near Golconda Hotel at Masab Tank while they were travelling in a stolen Maruti car.
The two are accused of having committed about 26 snatching offences of gold chains and 17 four and two wheeler vehicles from various places of Hyderabad, Cyberabad, Vijayawada and Mumbai city. The police said that gold chains weighing about 100 grams, five four-wheelers and one two-wheeler have been recovered from them. The total value of the items recovered has been put at about Rs 10 lakh.
