London Telugus extended support to Sunil's family London: Telugu Association Of London (TAL) extended its deepest condolences to Late. Sunil Koosuru's family and friends for their tragic loss. In a press note, TAL's Chairman and Board of Trustees Sreedhar Vanam, Mahesh K Chadalawada, Surya Kandukuri, Sanjay Bhiraju and Mallesh Kota expressed deepest condolences.
They said that as a committed charity, helping Telugu people in and around London, TAL assured the family their assistance in repatriating the body of Late. Sunil Koosuru. TAL is working closely with local authorities, local Police and his next of Kin to complete the process as quickly as possible.
Sunil Koosuru, 29, along with Ram Bhasin, 80, were killed in a suspected arson attack in the early hours of Monday 7 March, 2011. Their bodies were found by firefighters after a blaze at a maisonette in Chapman Street, Shadwell, east London, at 1.20am. A postmortem gave the cause of death for both men as smoke inhalation.
Mr Bhasin's son Aaron Bhasin, 52, of Chapman Street, Shadwell, was charged with two counts of murder and one count of arson with intent to endanger life. He will next appear at the Old Bailey on June 16.
Mr Koosuru, an Indian national, had only recently moved into the building. He was working as a sales executive for a web hosting company in Fulham, southwest London.
