Holi: Liquor outlets to remain closed
Hyderabad, March 17 (INN): The city police on Thursday ordered that wine shops and bars within city (excluding bars in Star Hotels and registered clubs) to remain closed from the evening of March 18 till the morning of March 20.
In a circular issued by city Commissioner AK Khan, the orders will come into force from 6 PM of Friday, on account of Holi festival.
The Police had on Wednesday issued orders prohibiting the throwing colour or coloured water on persons, places and vehicles or smearing people with colour, on public roads and public places in the city.
The police had also prohibited movement of two wheelers and other vehicles in groups on streets and public places disturbing peace and order and or causing inconveniences, annoyance or danger to public.
