ATVMs at 4 more MMTS stations from March 19
Hyderabad, March 18 (INN): The South Central Railway will commission Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs) at Chandanagar, Bharatnagar, Nature Cure Hospital and Sitaphalmandi MMTS Railway Stations from March 19, 2011. These are in addition to the MMTS stations in the city where the ATVMs are already functioning.
The improved version of ATVMs being commissioned will function round the clock and passengers can utilize the facility for purchase of platform tickets, MMTS journey tickets and unreserved tickets between various destinations on South Central Railway without having to wait in long queues at the Booking Counters.
The Smart Cards required for using the ATVM facilities can be purchased at the Booking Counters of the above mentioned stations. ATVMs are also installed and planned for commissioning in the next week at Necklace Road, Lakdi-ka-pul, Arts College, Vidyanagar, Malakpet and Falaknuma MMTS Stations.
