Litigant attacked outside Civil Courts Hyderabad, March 24 (INN): A 55-year-old man was left injured after being attacked while leaving the City Civil Court here on Thursday. According to Mirchowk Police, the victim was identified as Satyanaryana, a resident of Goshamahal. Satyanarayana had come to the City Civil Court to attend a hearing in a land dispute case.
Soon after the hearing, Satyanarayana stepped outside the Court Complex when the attack took place. According to Satyanarayana, one Santosh, believed to be around 26 years old, had attacked him with a knife. The attack left him with severe injuries on his neck.
Satyanaryana told the police that he has been involved in a land dispute with his sister Yadamma. Santosh was accompanying Yadamma to the Court. He is believed to be her relative from her in-laws' side. The Mirchowk police registered a case and further investigation is on.
It may be mentioned here that this is the second such incident which took place here. The first incident was reported on March 23. In that incident, a man, Sridhar Rao, who had filed for divorce, attacked his wife and her father in full view of the court.
