Four held for Santoshnagar murder Hyderabad, April 9 (INN): Sleuths of Santoshnagar Police Station on Saturday claimed to have unravelled the mystery behind the murder of a private photographer by nabbing four of the six prime suspects in the crime.
According to the police, Inspector B Sudershan Reddy and his juniors, Additional Inspectors T Sukdev Singh, N Yadaiah and crime staff succeeded in arresting four suspects while two others are still at large.
The police identified the arrest accused as Habeeb Ahmed Althaf, Syed Ismail Ahmed, Syed Afsar and Anwar Ahmed, while Habeeb Osman Alkaf and Nayeem are absconding.
Giving further details, the police said that Habeeb Ahmed Alkaf and Habeeb Osman Alkaf are brothers while Syed Ismail is their brother-in-law. Habeeb Osman had married one Shabana Sultana about 10 years back and they were blessed with two daughters.
Habeeb Osman has been working in UAE and used to visit Hyderabad once in a year and in his absence his wife Shabana Sultana was staying with his mother at Akbarnagar, Kumarwadi. She developed illicit intimacy with her relative Imran Hussain a photographer working in the Registration Office, Champapet, Hyderabad.
When Habeeb Osman last visited Hyderabad about nine months, he came to know about the illicit relationship between his wife with Imran Hussain. He advised his elder brother Habeeb Ahmed Alkaf to eliminate his wife Shabana Sultana and her paramour Imran Hussain. He also tried to get divorced from Shabana Sultana with a condition that she should hand over her two daughters to them, but she refused and continued her illicit intimacy with Imran Hussain.
Despite warnings, the deceased continued his relationship with Shabana Sultana and was moving with her freely and even he was dropping her and her children at the GSB High School, Santoshnagar.

Habeeb Ahmed Althaf bore grudged against the deceased and Shabana Begum and decided to eliminate them. He sought the help of the co-accused in eliminating both the deceased Imran Hussain and Shabana Sultana.
Accordingly, they observed Shabana Sultana's movement and on April 6, they waylaid the deceased when he was passing in front of GSB Angles High School, Santoshnagar Colony.
While Nayeem watch the movements of the public and Syed Afsar got his auto-rickshaw ready for escaping, Habeeb Ahmed and Syed Ismail stabbed Imran Hussain indiscriminately with daggers, killing him on the spot.
The police revealed that they had recovered three daggers, one auto-rickshaw and one motorcycle used in the crime. The police further said that efforts are on to nab the two absconding accused.
