Stepbrother kills man for harassing father
Hyderabad: A man accused in several cases was on Tuesday murdered by his step-brother and his associate at Santoshnagar. The police nabbed the killers within 24 hours of murder.
Syed Shabbir Ahmed (30), a resident of Bandlaguda, was involved in cases of murder, kidnap, cheating and others and got released from prison.
Shabbir used to harass his father Hakeem for money and reportedly took Rs 15,000 from the latter recently. Hakeem's second wife's son, Mohd Imran, got angry over this and with the help of his friend Mohd Asad, an auto driver from Pahadisharief, decided to kill Shabbir.
Late yesterday night, Imran went to Shabbir's house and brought him to Rakshapuram where Asad was waiting in an auto. Even as Shabbir was getting down from the two-wheeler, Asad attacked him from behind with an iron rod. When Shabbir fell down, the duo slit his throat and fled from the place. Police managed to arrest Imran and Asad.
