Traffic diversions for Hanuman Jayanti procession Hyderabad, April 17 (INN): Hyderabad Police Commissioner AK Khan on Sunday said that traffic in the city will be diverted based on the necessity and as and when the procession approaches a particular junction in view of the Hanuman Jayanthi Shobha Yatra on Monday.
In a statement, Mr Khan said that the Hanuman Jayanthi Shobha Yatra will be taken out from the Ram Mandir, Gowliguda and will continue on to the Putlibowli Crossroads, then onto Andhra Bank Crossroads, the DM and HS circle, Ram Kothi Crossroads, Kachiguda Crossroads, YMCA Narayanguda circle, under the flyover at Narayanguda junction, RTC Crossroads, Ashok Nagar Crossroads, Gandhi Nagar 'T' junction, Kavadiguda Crossroads, Bible House, Gasmandi Crossroads, Bata Crossroads, Subash Road, Ramgopalpet PS, MG Road, Paradise, CTO Crossroads, Balamrai, Tadbun Crossroads, Chinnatokata Bridge, Seven temple road, new Bowenpally, Sarojini Pulla Reddy Building, Central Point hotel, Diamond Point hotel, Mastan caf' and till the Tadbun Hanuman temple.
The top cop said that the traffic will not be allowed from RTC Crossroads towards Musheerabad Crossroads and will be diverted. The RTC buses will also be diverted based on the necessity on the procession route.
Mr Khan said that since the traffic congestion is expected on the above routes, the general public are requested to start early and take alternative routes for reaching their destinations in time. The Police Commissioner appealed to people to cooperate with the police in the smooth passage of traffic.
