Armed robbers stab farmhouse owner Hyderabad, April 19 (INN): A farmhouse owner was left hospitalized after being stabbed on the neck by unidentified robbers who managed to terrorize his family to hand over gold ornaments weighing about four tolas at Tholkatta, Moinabad mandal in Ranga Reddy district early on Tuesday morning.
According to Inspector Shekar Goud of the Moinabad police station, the victim was identified as Abdul Rahim who was staying at his farm house along with his family.
The four robbers, yet to be identified, had forced their way into the farm house and threatened to stab Abdul Rahim if the valuables were not handed over, Mr Shekar Goud said. He added that the petrified victims handed over the gold but some resistance by Abdul Rahim resulted in him being stabbed on the neck and back.
The armed miscreants managed to flee with the valuables even as Abdul Rahim was left profusely bleeding. His family alerted the police who arrived on the scene and shifted him to the nearest hospital. Abdul Rahim is stated to be in a stable condition. Inspector Shekar Goud said that a case has been registered and a manhunt has been launched to nab the robbers.
