Drunkard kills 2-yr daughter
Hyderabad: A 2-year-old girl was allegedly killed by her father in an inebriated condition at Hayathnagar on Thursday. Cyberabad police said that K Jagan, a centering worker, allegedly strangled his daughter Vaishnavi to death.
In the recent past the relation between Jagan and his wife Saritha got strained. On Thursday evening, Jagan came home drunk and, after some time, told his neighbours that his daughter was found dead. When police quizzed him, Jagan confessed that he had killed her.
Earlier in the day, Jagan went to the police station and told them that he wanted to sell his 4-year-old son Yogi as he was in need of money. Police sent him away with a warning to put him behind bars if he did so. Police filed a murder case against Jagan and took him into custody.
