Man, friend held for attempting to kill wife's paramour Hyderabad, April 25 (INN): Chatrinaka police on Monday nabbed two persons for attempting to murder a man who had eloped with one of their relatives. According to Chatrinaka police Inspector N Shyam Prasad Rao, Charan (25), hailing from Mahabubabad had eloped with one of his relative Krishnaiah's wife one month ago. He came to Hyderabad and had been staying at Uppuguda .
Krishanaiah came to know the whereabouts of Charan and his wife and he had planned to eliminate the victim with the help of one Ramchandar. They kept a watch on Charan and were waiting for an opportunity to do away with him.
The duo found him at Uppuguda Railway Station on April 16 and attacked him with iron rod and sticks. However, Charan survived the assault and managed to lodge a complaint with the Chatrinaka police. Following the complaint and the registration of an attempted murder case, the police arrested the duo. They were judicial custody.
