Suspicious man hacks wife to death Medak, April 26 (INN): Suspecting his wife's fidelity, a man brutally hacked her to death with the help of a sharp sickle at Sherkhanpalli village, Huthnoora mandal in Medak district late on Monday night.
According to Sub-Inspector Sanjay, Raju (35) attacked his 30-year-old wife Lakshmi while she was fast asleep in their residence at Sherkhanpalli village. The attack on her neck and head left her dead on the spot.
Mr Sanjay told INN that Raju suspected his wife's character and this led to regular quarrels between the two, almost on a daily basis.
The police, on getting information, rushed to the village and shifted Lakshmi's body to a the government hospital for autopsy.
Raju was arrested and will be sent for judicial custody. Further investigations are on. A case has been registered under section 302 IPC.
