Woman held for posing as PM's OSD Hyderabad, April 27 (INN): Officials of the Central Crime Station on Wednesday took into custody a woman who was duping people by masquerading as a Officer on Special Duty to the Prime Minister.
According to the CCS police, the sleuths were on the woman's trail after one Mohammed Khaleel filed a complaint saying that one Suman Singh had approached him and introduced herself as the OSD to the Prime Minister. Ms Suman Singh offered to settle his land dispute by using her influence as an IAS officer and demanded Rs 10,00,000 in lieu of her services.
Accordingly, the CCS registered a case based on Mr Khaleel's complaint and investigations were taken up. The CCS sleuths found out that Ms Suman Singh was posing herself as OSD to Prime Minister and used to obtain flag cars from some of the working IAS officers and get certain works done through them.
She even attended some programmes as chief guest in her capacity as OSD to Prime Minister. Since the registration of the case she was absconding. The police further said that they managed to arrest Ms Suman Singh on April 26, 2011 from Rameshnagar in New Delhi.
