AIEEE aspirants get another shot at test Hyderabad, May 3 (INN): The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to conduct the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) for those students who did not turn up for the examination on May 1, due to reports of paper leak.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, CBSE Chairman Vineet Joshi said that students who have missed the AIEEE will be allowed to appear for it on May 11. Mr Joshi asked the students who want to take the test online to register their names by Thursday. He said the test will be conducted online at Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam centres only.
According to preliminary reports, about 32,500 students of the 11.5 lakh scheduled to take the paper could not appear for it following report of paper leak in Uttar Pradesh.
