Two held for running fake visa consultancy Hyderabad, May 7 (INN): Task Force sleuths on Saturday busted a fake educational consultancy and apprehended two persons and seized incriminating material.
According to Inspector RG Siva Maruthi, the accused person were identified as Mohammed Raziuddin (32) and Raheemuddin (30), who were running Iris Software Development and Overseas Education Consultancy and seized fake documents, two computers, two cpus, one laptop, two printer-cum-scanners, 72 rubber stamps, two cell phones, four landline phones, one pen drive and other incriminating material.
Investigation revealed that Raziuddin and Raheemuddin were running the consultancy since the past two and half years and were providing services to students aspiring to study abroad. Soon after starting the business, they resorted to fabricating documents which are needed for processing of Visa.
Since, students who have obtained good marks only are eligible to pursue higher studies in the universities abroad, they targeted students who aspired to study abroad but had got low marks.
The duo fabricated the Marks Memos and certificates showing the candidate obtained good marks with the same hall ticket number. Further they fabricate other documents which are necessary like Bank Statements, Job Experience certificates, residential proof etc.,
Further they also fabricate other documents like fake marriage certificates (Nikah Nama) with the stamp of Qazi and his signature, degree certificates, Job experience certificates, bank statements etc., of other countries also.
The Task Force sleuths said that the duo are capable of fabricating any other document which is required by the clients. Their computer systems and laptop show number of scanned copies (empty and filled) of various educational certificates of different standards and institutions in India and abroad.
In all, 72 rubber stamps seized from their possession are of different banks, Government Offices and Officials, Travel Agencies, Hospitals, Private firms etc noticeably one rubber stamp of an official of Embassy of India in Kuwait is also available. They charge Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000 per person for documentation.
The arrested accused persons along with the seized materials were being handed over to the Station House Officer Chaderghat Police Station, Hyderabad for further action.
