Akbar attackers get police remand Hyderabad, May 12 (INN): A city Court on Thursday remanded four persons, accused of being involved in the attack on the life of Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen Floor Leader Akbaruddin Owaisi to three days police custody.
The XII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate remanded prime accused Mohammed bin Omar Yafai alias Mohammed Pahelwan, Isa Bin Younus Yafai, Hussain Bin Omer Yafai alias Hassan and Younus Bin Omer Yafai.
The Magistrate, while remanding them to police custody directed the police to question them in front of lawyers. The Magistrate also said that the police will have to produce them in Court on May 16.
He also directed the police to provide medical assistance for them if need arises. Following the police remand, the Detective Department will start questioning the accused.
Meanwhile Akbaruddin Owaisi's brother and MP Asaduddin Owaisi on Thursday appealed to Chief Minister to appoint a Special Prosecutor to control allotment of arms licenses.
