Man held for hawking porn CDs
Hyderabad, May 16 (INN): Dabeerpura police nabbed a person and seized eight pornographic compact discs from his possession, which were circulated to the customers.
According to Inspector D Prasanna Kumar, the accused has been identified as Mohammed Meraj Ahmed (38), who owns a Photo Studio at Chanchalguda main road. Late on Saturday night, on receipt of credible information, the police conducted searches and apprehended the accused, along with a plastic bag containing pornographic CDs.
During the confession, Meraj Ahmed revealed that CDs of obscene movies were procured from the Charminar Road Side Shop, and started earning easy money by circulating the Porno CDs, on rental basis for Rs 50 per day and sells each for Rs 100 to the needy and reliable customers. A case has been registered and further investigations are going on.
