Sex workers rescued from pimp's clutches
Hyderabad, May 16 (INN): Abids police on Monday conducted raids on a brothel and nabbed a pimp along with three customers and rescued six sex workers from his clutches, late on Sunday night.
According to Inspector G Girish Rao, police on receipt of credible information conducted raids and apprehended one B Praveen Kumar along with the customers Mohammed Ateeq, Asif Ahmed, Majeed.
Mr Girish Rao revealed that the accused, in order to earn easy money, had procured the women B Madhu, Swapna Chowdari, Anju Bhanu Bee, Satyani, Kalyani and Meena from various places and was indulging in the flesh trade.
Police has registered a case and a manhunt has been lunched to nab the prime accused Madhu along with Raju and P Narasimha Rao, who are presently absconding. The arrested accused will be produced before the Court.
