Beauty Salon raided, sex workers freed Hyderabad, May 17 (INN): Task Force sleuths raided a brothel masquerading as a 'Beauty Salon' and arrested on pimp while rescuing two sex workers. The police also seized cash of Rs 1,000, a cell phone and other incrimination material from their possession.
According to Inspector Ch Y Srinivas Kumar, the accused has been identified as Eda Sujatha (34), who owns a 'Beauty Salon' at Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
Eda Sujatha had migrated to Hyderabad from Khammam district along with her family. Her husband had entered into the business of real estate while undertaking centring work in under-construction buildings. Meanwhile, the accused had underwent a beautician's course in a private institution.
Due to losses in the real estate and centering business, the accused had started running 'beauty salon' by taking a portion on monthly rent of Rs 25,000. Sujatha started the 'beauty salon' two months ago by employing two good looking young girls.
As the business was dull and unable to meet the expense of running the salon, she converted the beauty salon into massage centre. The beauty-parlour-turned-massage-centre soon turned into a house of debauchery, where known customers stripped naked to be provided a 'massage' by good-looking female 'masseurs'.
The organizer and sex workers along with seized materials were arrested and handed over to the Banjara Hills Police Station for necessary action under provisions of Prevention of Immortal Traffic Act.
