Omani national among 3 held for black magic
Hyderabad, June 8 (INN): The Moghalpura Police with the assistance of South Zone Task Force Team on Wednesday apprehended a gang of three persons, including an Omani national, for indulging in Black Magic at a house situated at Sultan Shahi, Moghalpura.
The three arrested accused have been identified as Abdul Raheem alias Yaba (45), Abdul Khaiser (22) and Jasim Mohammed Saleh alias Yaseen (34). Saleh is a Omani National.
The police seized a big Rudraksha Mala, Japa Mala, big Deeparadhana illuminating stand, small Deeparadhana illuminating stand, a small stool, a Deeparadhana made up in the shape of pot, small pots with iron Naga structure and ash etc.
The police said that the arrest was made based on a tip-off that Black Magic was being practiced at Sultan Shahi area. During enquiry, it was revealed that the said Abdul Raheem alias Yaba along with his son MA Khaiser and friend Jasim were claiming to have supernatural powers.
They were, in the guise of black-magic, cheating innocent persons specially women folk by taking huge amounts from them in the name of spiritual treatments.
