TAGC falicitates minister Galla Aruna Kumari
 IL, Chicago: Chicago Area Telugu community leaders from Telugu Association of Greater Chicago (TAGC) and American Telugu Association (ATA) gathered on 29-JUN-2011 evening to honor visiting Honorable Andhra Pradesh Minister for Geology and Mines Ms. Galla Aruna Kumari, at Masala restaurant, Chicago, IL. TAGC president elect Mr. Kalyan Anandula welcomed Ms. Aruna Kumari garu, and introduced her to local Telugu Community leaders.
Ms. Galla family friend and ATA founding member, Mr. Madhava Reddy spoke about his close association with Galla family. Mr. Madhav Reddy discussed Mr. and Ms Galla Naidu's association with TAGC. ATA president elect Mr. Karunakar Madhavram, ATA treasurer Mr. Satya Kandimalla, and ATA Trustee Mr. Narendar Chemarla spoke about ATA social service work. Mr. Karunkar invited Ms Galla to 2012 ATA convention, at Atlanta, which she gladly accepted.
Mr. Kirti Kumar, FIA Secretary, praised Ms. Galla about her political work and keeping her memories still with Chicago, which she believes as her home town. Mr. Sama Rami Reddy spoke about their 40 year old memories with Galla family.
Ms. Galla addressed audience and recollected her 16 years of experiences at Chicago. She suggested all NRIs should help their village back home in Andhra Pradesh. She also suggested successful NRI's should return back to Andhra Pradesh and establish industries etc for economic development of their villages and community.
ATA founding member Mr. Hanumath Reddy, past TAGC presidents Mr. Amar Nettam, Mr. Ramana Murthy Yadavalli, TAGC directors KSN Reddy, Pradeep Kandimalla, Ramesh Garapaty, Srinivas Peddamallu and many of Ms. Galla's friends, well wishers and supporters attended this event.
