TDF hails Congress legislators decision
Bridgewater, NJ, July1: Telangana Development Forum - USA has congartulated the Congress Legislators for their decision to tender resignations to their posts in support of Telangana state. In a press release president and chairman of TDF Murali Chintalpani, Dr.Gopal Reddy Gade urged the Congress leaders to stick to their word and should not yield to any threats or pressure from the party high command or state government.
TDF also requested those who are yet to decide on resignations should follow the Congress leaders who stood by the people's demand. Those who oppose the popular demand be forewarned that there will be serious consequences to their decisions and the consequences would not be confined to 2014 alone.
Telangana Congress leaders have been repeatedly insulted by the Central Cabinet ministers like P.Chidambaram, Pranab Mukherjee, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Ahmed Patel etc. It is time to tell Sonia Gandhi and the party high command that the Telangana people will not tolerate any disrespect and waited for too long to deliver her 2004 promise.
TDP also demands that Telangana TDP MLA's to join their Congress counterparts and resign to their positions. They should join Congress legislators in creating a crisis in AP Assembly. TDF appleas to all T legislators that their sacrifices will be rememberd by the future generations of Telangana and will be written in the history books.
