Bala Krishna raising funds for the Cancer Hospital
 New York, NY: Popular Film Hero Nandamuri Bala Krishna never forgets the hospital started by his father. Basavatharakam Indo American Cancer Hospital at Hyderabad, started in memory of his mother, is always his top priority whenever he visits the United States.
In the last 2 weeks, Nandamuri Bala Krishna attended several fund raising events in Sanjose, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, St.Louis, Washington DC and was finally in New York. The last fund raising event of his tour was held in New York and it turned out to be a phenomenal success, rising funds for over a quarter million ($260,000.00). This last one in New York turned out to be the biggest revenue generator in his entire tour.
Several Donors and Philanthropists from New York and New Jersey stepped in and showered their support by generously donating to the hospital. Smt. Polavarapu Thulasi and Sri Polvarapu Raghava Rao successfully hosted this event in New York over the last weekend. Several Trustees of the hospital also attended the function and offered their continued support to the cause.
Indo American Cancer Hospital Chairman - Nandamuri BalaKrishna in his lengthy speech thanked all the attendees, Donors for supporting the cause. He briefed all the service initiatives taken up so far and also the upcoming activities and the upgraded facilities for the hospital. He thanked and praised NRIs for their services to the mother land.
It was a fun filled evening for everyone- Nandamuri BalaKrishna mingled closely with everyone, posed for pictures with almost everyone and personally spoke to almost everyone who attended the event.
Many Donors praised the leadership of Nandamuri Bala Krishna for this initiative and pledged that they would continue to support this noble cause.
Many people from New York and New Jersey states attended this event and made it a grand success. Several Telugu Community activists actively participated in this event. After the successful completion of his USA tour, Bala Krishna left for India. He was given a grand farewell by friends and fans in New York.
