Industrialist's house burgled
Hyderabad: Burglars gained entry into the house of an industrialist at Balanagar by breaking the lock and decamped with gold, silver and cash. Police said the burgled house at Venkataiah Apartments in Balanagar belonged to industrialist Ashok, who owns a plastic unit. While he had gone to his office, his wife Jyothy locked the house and had gone out with one of her friends.
She returned in 30 minutes only to find the lock broken on the main door. A panicked Jyothy rushed inside and found the almirah ransacked. Gold jewellery weighing 700 grams, silver articles weighing half kilo and Rs 3 lakh in cash was found stolen. She immediately informed her husband about the theft who in turn lodged a complaint with the Balanagar police. The case is under investigation.
